DISCOVERY
(Dublin Interactive Science Centre Project)
- Private (non-profit making) -

The purpose of the Dublin Interactive Science Centre project, DISCOVERY, is to design, construct and maintain a science museum in Stack A in the Custom House Docks Development Authority complex in Dublin.

The project is in accordance with the objectives of the CHDDA Planning Document of July 22, 1987, Element 7.4 Cultural, and the Master Project Agreement of January 25, 1988, which refer to "Museum and Cultural Facilities " including a Museum of Science.
The DISCOVERY committee is composed of members drawn from professional, academic and fund raising sectors. Between 1986 and 1997, the committee submitted three feasibility studies to the CHDDA.

The DISCOVERY committee invites all interested groups to collaborate with Discovery in the mission to obtain Stack A for a science museum. We wish to draw attention to the £30 million package on offer from the DDA for a cultural entity: the site, the building, and the Levy.
